The detail
What it's about
From field to table, our adult bushcraft courses teach practical wilderness skills including game preparation, fire lighting, shelter building, natural cordage, rush weaving, and navigation using the sun, stars, trees, and wind. Register your interest to hear about upcoming courses.
Our adult courses are for people who want to go deeper. This isn't a taster session or a day out. It's a serious four-hour course covering real skills.
You'll work through hands-on field craft: preparing game from field to table, lighting and maintaining fires, building shelters, making cordage from natural materials, and rush weaving. Navigation goes beyond map and compass — reading the sun, stars, trees, and wind to find your way without technology.
Adult courses run monthly, priced at £65 per person for a four-hour session. We're building the programme now. Register your interest and we'll be in touch as soon as dates are confirmed. For every booking, £5 is donated to IJM.
